This qualification is fully accepted for licencing purposes so you can open your own nail salon or take your career to the next leave as a nail salon manager. The course is also suitable for those without a previous Level 2 Nails qualification, as our tailored teaching methods can be adapted to support learners at any level – saving you both time and money.
On the Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology you will acquire all the skill and knowledge needed to offer outstanding treatments, manage or run your own business or to train others to excel in the industry.
You will master technical skills including manicure and pedicures, nail enhancement using UV Gels, Acrylics, advanced nail art and e-files, alongside nail theory, sales and promotions and client care.

How Long Is The Course
Weekday Course
9-10 weeks (plus final assessment date and exams)

Flexible exam and assessments dates (requires 3-4 college attendances)
You will be required to practice your skills and complete homework/independent study, exams and assessments outside of the taught sessions. The final exams may be held from 2-4 weeks after the last
classroom lesson. Dates will be agreed with learners during the course.

You will need to purchase our uniform and essentials tools kit
Plus you will also need a kit to practice with at home. You can buy this
from us or purchase your own from elsewhere
You will also need stationery including 1 x A4 folders and dividers to hold
for your portfolio evidence and course materials
You must have access to a PC/laptop to complete the written assignments
and any online tasks
What Can I Do With This Qualification
There are so many options with this qualification. You can seek employment as an advanced Nail technician, salon manager freelancer or you can set up your own salon or mobile business. You could decide to take your qualification abroad and work internationally in a hotel or on a cruise ship. Or share your skills and become a lecturer at a beauty college.
The VTCT Level 3 in Nail Technology is a highly recognised qualification that is
accepted across the UK for working in salons, nail bars, hotels and spas or as a
freelance nail technician.
As an internationally accredited qualification you can also work across the globe, on cruise liners or in other international beauty sectors.
