

Barbering inc. Wet Shaving
Overview
A Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Barbering, including wet shaving, is a UK vocational qualification for aspiring junior barbers, covering essential skills like men's cutting, facial hair shaping, wet shaving fundamentals, health & safety, client consultation, and barbershop operations, preparing you for work in the industry with a recognised certificate.
This Barber course is aimed at those looking to be work-ready and have an
internationally recognised Barbering qualification.
After an initial induction, on day 2 you will learn to cut & style utilising the 5 Alan
d foundation haircuts before moving on to the practical elements of our Barber
training, incorporating all the latest techniques using scissors, scissor-over-
comb, clipper work, beard & moustache trimming & wet-shaving.
Client care, shampooing, blow-drying & barber-shop protocol all form part of the
course leading to completion of your NVQ Level 2. You will be taught on both
dummy heads & live models.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Typically requires GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent.
NVQ courses include VTCT on-line testing to complete the qualification.
Alan d & VTCT certification is awarded on completion of the course.
